What is CompassConnect?
CompassConnect is a tool provided to you by Kern County Health & Wellness in partnership with PayerCompass, to find medical contracted providers for
the Kern Legacy Network Plus and Kern
Legacy Share Select Health Plans.
By utilizing this tool, you will have the ability to obtain the following information about a provider before you schedule an appointment:
- Does the provider accept your healthcare benefit plan?
- Does the provider specialize in a particular type of care?
- You can confirm the provider’s location and contact information.
- You can check the provider's quality rating based on how other patients have rated this provider.
- You can get an estimate of the cost of the procedure when performed by a particular provider.
Getting Started
To start using CompassConnect, you will need to set up an account at https://kern.connect.payercompass.com/home/login
using the following information found on your member ID card:
- ID Number
- First Name
- Group Number
- Date of Birth
- Zip Code
